Proboscis Monkey Peril: Deforestation Threatens Unique Species

 

The proboscis monkey, known for its distinctive long nose and potbellied appearance, is facing an existential threat due to rampant deforestation. Native to the rainforests of Borneo, this unique species relies heavily on the dense canopy for food, shelter, and social interaction.
